There is even an outdoor heated swimming pool which is open in the winter and summer seasons. Summer visitors can go hiking through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings. There are many great restaurants and bars in Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is a 1 hour and 40 minute drive from the apartment.
