There is a regular boat service to the island from Porto San Paolo (2 minutes walk). Alternatively, visitors can hire a boat or kayak to explore the smaller islands such as Isola Cavalli and Isola Piana. For visitors who are interested in the local cuisine, Olbia hosts farmers’ markets 3 days a week, the best being the Saturday market in Via Sangallo (25 minutes). Here you will find a wide range of fresh produce and island specialities. Olbia Airport is just a 20-minute drive.
