High on the hillside, with glorious views over the valley to the mountains beyond, it is an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful part of Switzerland. The ground-floor apartment is well-appointed with everything guests need for a comfortable holiday. The cosy living room is furnished with a bed, mirrored wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and an open fireplace. A step leads into the separate kitchen. The Lido di Agno (22 minutes) is an ideal spot for kayaking and swimming in the clear lake. Guests will find a selection of supermarkets in the town of Agno (20 minutes). For the freshest local produce head to the farmers market, which takes place Tuesday and Friday mornings in central Lugano (30 minutes) Lugano is packed with things to see including MASI, The Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland, which hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. There are many delicious restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy the best of Italian and Swiss cuisines.
