It has excellent access to all of Chamonix’s amenities and ski shuttle buses to all skiing areas are close by. Chamonix is well-known for its variety of both winter and summer activities. It is a centre for skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, sledging and ice skating. There is also an indoor swimming pool with a hammam, which is open all year round. In the summer, there are numerous options, including mountaineering, hiking and biking trails through stunning mountain scenery. Chamonix’s weekly market (Saturday mornings) is in Place du Mont Blanc (5-minute walk) and is the best place to pick up local ingredients to try at home. Alternatively, there are supermarkets within a 5-minute drive.
