The area is known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters and picturesque landscapes. The beaches are ideal for sunbathing, water sports, swimming in the clear waters and long walks along the shoreline, they offer fine white sands and are surrounded by cliffs, pine forests and lush vegetation. The most popular are Cala Sassari (a 6-minute drive), Cala Sabina (a 20-minute drive) Cala Moresca (a 15-minute drive), Spiaggia Bianca (an 8-minute drive) and Marinella (a 15-minute drive away). Porto Rotondo, a picturesque town known for its marina, luxury yachts and chic boutiques is a 20-minute drive away. The area is also an excellent starting point for Island hopping and day trips to nearby islands such as Tavolara, Molara, and Figarolo accessible from Porto di Olbia (a 15-minute drive).
