A stunning apartment that is right on the beach, but only a short walk from the charming town of Kraljevica. This first-floor apartment is in a contemporary property and makes an idyllic retreat. It is the perfect base from which to explore the Croatian coast and the stunning countryside away from the beach. The apartment, which sleeps 5 people, combines indoor and outdoor living with a large balcony overlooking the sparkling Adriatic Sea. The airy kitchen/dining area has a dining table for 5 and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge, freezer and Dolcegusto coffee machine. Double French windows lead directly onto the balcony with wonderful sea views. The balcony makes a relaxing and stylish living area, furnished with sun loungers, a parasol and another dining table, where guests can enjoy meals al fresco. The area is known for its beautiful beaches and clear waters, but there is a lot of history to explore. Kraljevica (5 minutes) has not one, but two, castles as well as the Adriatic’s oldest shipbuilding yard and several excellent restaurants and cafés. The city of Rijeka (25 mins) also makes a fascinating day out. Croatia’s main port has plenty of interesting places to visit. For self-catering the market (Monday to Saturday mornings) is worth a trip. Here you can find local produce to prepare and enjoy back at home. Rijeka International Airport is just 15 minutes away, over the Krk bridge, which can be seen from the apartment.
