A small road will take you in a few minutes from the chalet to the center of Les Houches where you will find all the shops necessary for your stay (supermarket, petrol station, tourist office, pharmacy, ski hire companies, etc.) as well as access quickly to the Les Houches ski area and to the motorway by which you can reach Chamonix in about ten minutes. Upstream you will find pretty woods for pleasant and accessible walks to the mountain pastures of Charousse.
