The property sits in the Monte Amiata hills, which feature hiking trails, wooded areas, rivers, and streams strewn across a volcanic landscape, which can be explored on foot, bike or horseback. Montalcino is part of the Maremma region, renowned for its rich culture, art, and – of course – wine. The villa’s “home winery” is the Castello Banfi Wine Resort, just a short drive away.
