Completed in 2018, the chalet sleeps 14-15 guests in 7 en-suite bedrooms plus an additional children's bunk room. The attention to detail throughout the chalet is one of its highlights, with a focus on natural materials such as wood, stone, wool, metal and leather. Many of the pieces have been handcrafted by the owner or are repurposed from traditional local objects, such as a coffee table fashioned from an old-fashioned cider press, or light fittings made from wooden Beaufort cheese casings. The focal point of the chalet is its dramatic double height sitting room, with enormous windows affording panoramas of the surrounding peaks. The cleverly designed space comprises ample seating on large comfortable sofas, a generous dining area, a well-stocked bar, reading and games corners on the mezzanine and wraparound balconies giving access to the hot tub, which is blessed with arguably the best views in the valley. The chalet's other spa facilities include a stunning indoor swimming pool with a waterfall and counter current system, hammam, massage area, and well-equipped gym.
