Just about 1 km away, Pyrgos is ideal for exploring traditional Cycladic architecture, local tavernas, winding streets, and beautiful viewpoints away from the busier tourist areas. The location also provides an excellent base for discovering more of the island. Kamari Beach and Fira are approximately 15 minutes away by car, while nearby hiking trails, vineyards, the Monastery of Profitis Ilias, and the picturesque village of Emporio offer plenty of opportunities to explore Santorini at a slower pace.
