This enchanting villa is situated within walking distance (500 m) of the centre of Ranco, a small laid-back village with a lakeside bar, pretty harbour and children’s playground. You will find in the immediate vicinity a local grocery store, bakery and a few restaurants (from local trattorie to the Michelin-starred restaurant ‘Sole di Ranco’). The charming village of Angera is only 3 km away, known for its towering castle La Rocca, and attractive promenade and beach along the lake. From Angera there are regular ferries (every 30 minutes) to Arona which is on the Piedmont side of the lake. From Laveno (18 km), you can easily hop on any ferry and discover the popular sights of the lake with regular sailings to Verbania, Stresa and the magical Borromeo Islands.
