Ira Rockman

Ira Rockman is a co-founder of Smiling House, the Swiss luxury vacation rental group headquartered in Gstaad. His life in hospitality began in the Gstaad valley, caring for a small collection of alpine chalets and treating every guest as a friend arriving at his own home — the instinct the whole company was later built on.

Today Ira leads the side of Smiling House that guests never see: the alliance of hundreds of trusted hosts and homeowners whose properties the company represents year-round. That partnership model — respect and care for the owner as much as the guest, with the Smiling House team standing behind every stay — is what let a handful of Swiss chalets become an international collection without losing its family character.
