Overview of the house
The space
As you can see from the main photograph, there is ample parking at the house itself. As the main house is away from the main road, so a quiet sanctuary. Each season allows the house to be appreciated in its entirety. The two bedrooms upstairs have adjoining en-suites. The beds sleep 7 people, with advanced notice, additional people can be catered for as there is ample reception space for a sofa and an air bed combination. A non-smoking premise (please read the house rules below).
Please note the house is a 1930s build, it has character and characteristics that you would expect from a house of that era. That’s the charm of living in a property with history.
We have upgraded the overtime, but the original structure, including the floors and fireplace, remains intact.
We want our guests to love our house, knowing it’s our family home and feel the warmth of hospitality.
The neighbourhood
You cannot ask for a better location in the City of Nottingham!
Located at the door step of beautiful Wollaton park - 3 minute walk to the park gate.
There are plenty of buses with the Bus stop being 2 minutes from the house (as the house is close to the Queens Medical Centre Hospital). Read the 'Get Around' section ,below, for further information.
There is a TRAM stop within a 15 minute walk, taxis are easy to get a hold off too, I recommend DG Cars, but you also have Uber too.
In town you’ll find many popular restaurants, the cinemas, theatre and pubs for your entertainment. To come back to Derby Road from town, take i4 or 21 or any bus going directly to QMC (the hospital) and get off there. Now you will have cross Derby Road and take the same route as before.
