For self-catering Sirmione market takes place on Monday and Friday (mornings only). This is the ideal place to pick up the very best local ingredients. Visitors of all ages can spend a fun-filled day at one of the nearby theme parks (Gardaland and Movieland, 30 minutes away by car). There are also windsurfing schools close by on the lake and a boat hire centre just 10 minutes away. Verona Villafranca airport is only 35 minutes by car.
