Guests can easily explore the medieval streets of Koper, the elegant Titov Square, the Venetian Old Town and the lively waterfront promenade filled with cafés and restaurants. Some of Slovenia's most beautiful beaches are within easy driving distance, including Strunjan Nature Reserve, where crystal-clear waters, dramatic cliffs and scenic coastal walking trails create one of the country's most picturesque seaside destinations. Nature lovers can also visit the spectacular Škocjan Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its underground canyons and remarkable karst formations. The surrounding wine region offers numerous wineries and tasting experiences, including Bordon Wines, only a few minutes from the cottage. The location also provides an excellent base for day trips to Piran, Izola, the Karst region, and even nearby Trieste in Italy.
