Summer visitors can go hiking through forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. There are many great restaurants and bars in Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.
