The beaches at Punta Volpe (5-minute drive), Marinella (11-minute drive) and Ira (6-minute drive) are famously lovely. After a day by the sea, visitors are spoiled for choice with the many excellent restaurants and bars in the town. For self-catering, there are supermarkets and smaller shops close by. Alternatively, in Olbia, you can explore vibrant farmers' markets held three times a week. The Saturday market in Via Sangallo is particularly recommended.
