French windows lead from the kitchen to one of two outdoor dining areas. The fully fenced garden is the heart of the property, with a private unheated swimming pool, a shaded dining area, seating for an evening aperitivo, a table tennis table and a barbecue — all set in a quiet, very sunny spot with lovely mountain views. Supermarkets and food shops are less than a 10-minute drive away, and a weekly market is held every Thursday morning in Vicchio's Piazza 6 Marzo, just 8 minutes away. Vicchio's railway station is a 5-minute drive from the house, with direct trains reaching the heart of Florence in just 50 minutes. Florence Airport is a 55-minute drive away, while Bologna's Guglielmo Marconi Airport is around 1 hour 20 minutes away.
