The warm welcome of the house is completed by the terracotta floors and the exposed beams on the ground floor as well as the large bedrooms, all with air conditioning and private bathroom and some with an internal bath and a view of the panorama or with a four-poster bed. The villa is located right on the ancient “Via Francigena” which allows guests to take long walks on paths that in the past have seen thousands of pilgrims and that have made the history of the area. A couple of kilometers from here you can visit the historic center of San Gimignano with the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria Assunta, the Campatelli tower and house, Piazza del Duomo or the ancient city museum. Florence Peretola airport is about forty kilometers away. The central position of this villa will allow you to easily reach the major destinations in Tuscany through scenic and low-traffic roads. Siena, the gateway to the Val d’Orcia, is not far away but we also recommend an excursion to the smaller villages of Monteriggioni, Castellina, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti.
