Stately modern villa in the lush Ibizan countryside near San Carlos. This stately modern villa enjoys a countryside location, just inland from the bustling resort of Santa Eulalia. Casa Carlos boasts an impressive pool and charming outside terrace areas, framed by farmland and dark, wooded hillsides. The nearby village of San Carlos is a pretty collection of charming bars, restaurants, and white-washed Ibicenco houses in the north east of the island, just a short hop from Santa Eulalia and the beaches of the east coast. Dotted with orange trees, statuesque cypresses and elderly olive trees, the gardens around Casa Carlos look out onto farmland and the neighbouring forested hillsides. Explore the grounds and you’ll discover a tennis court and a peaceful water feature. Closer to the house, across the broad lawn, Casa Carlos’ large pool sparkles temptingly in the Ibizan sunshine. Relax on one of the poolside daybeds or seek shelter in the charming pool house. There are plenty of quiet spaces to relax out here, including a wide bank of lounge seating on the lawn and a well-appointed summer kitchen. From the main terrace, enter through the double-height atrium, where sofa seating makes the most of beautiful garden views. Inside, the well-equipped family kitchen includes a sunny breakfast table, seating eight. Each of the six bedrooms is either en-suite or has access to a separate bathroom. The view from the master suite on the upper floor is beautiful; from here you can see the blue Balearic sea glittering in the distance.
