Serene Seven-Hectare Beachfront Paradise in Comporta

This paradise is composed of six bungalows, each serving a different purpose, and all linked by paths through beautifully maintained gardens of white sand and dune vegetation. Lavender and rosemary are in full blossom during the summer, painting the surroundings with fragranced colors. The feeling you have on the property is of being in a timeless oasis with the utmost privacy and quite literally your own private beach (although keep in mind the water is chilly). The beach is located less that 100m away, accessible by a pathway through the dunes that stand in between. On top of the dunes there is a charming little chapel made of timber wood. An environment with soul that makes this one of our favorite properties in Portugal. The distribution of the bungalows retains the traditional principles found in the area, in that each building is used for a different purpose: the kitchen, the bedrooms, the living room, a study, the master suite, terraces. This allows the option of separate areas for children and guests. There is also a mini football field with grass for the kids. Comporta is not for nightclubbers, but it does have an active private social life and some excellent beach bars and restaurants, including two that can be reached on foot from the estate. There is an unpaved driveway leading from the property, so we would recommend using a four-wheel drive, though any vehicle will reach it comfortably
