Beachfront Four-Bedroom Bungalow in Malibu

The house has four bedrooms and sleeps eight. The primary has a king, a private bathroom, and its own ocean view; the second has a queen; the third is built for families, with two twin beds and a pull-out; and the fourth has a queen, a private bathroom, and its own kitchenette. Three bathrooms in all, one off the primary, one off the fourth bedroom, and a family bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped, and an ocean-facing deck with a barbecue takes care of meals outside. You'll also have a dedicated workspace, high-speed wifi, smart TVs throughout, exercise equipment, and beach gear including a surfboard and supplies for the sand. Cotton linens, robes, and grooming supplies come standard, and a crib is ready on request. There is no air conditioning, though the ocean breeze usually keeps the house cool, and no laundry on site.

This is the quiet, western end of Malibu, where the coast is at its most beautiful and least crowded. Lechuza Beach is steps away, and El Matador, with its sea caves and rock arches, is a short drive west for the most photographed stretch of the whole coastline. Trancas Country Market sits close by for coffee, groceries, and a surf shop, the everyday hub of this end of town. Point Dume is minutes off for a bluff-top walk and, in season, whales passing offshore. When you want dinner over the water, the classic Malibu rooms, Geoffrey's and Malibu Farm out on the pier, are an easy drive east along the coast.

Additional rules: We want you to feel at home — and we ask that you treat the space with care and respect. By booking or staying at this property, you agree to the following: 1. Check-In & Check-Out - Check-in window: 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Early arrivals require prior approval and may incur additional fees. - Check-out window: 11:00 a.m. Late check-outs require prior approval and may incur additional fees. - Unauthorized late check-out or failure to vacant the property by the check-out time may result in additional charges, including overstay fees. - Unapproved late check-outs will be charged at $100 per each additional hour (or portion thereof). 2. Occupancy & Guests - Prior to check-in, guests are required to complete and sign an online check-in form, which includes the property's Terms & Conditions. - To help ensure the security of the property, guests may be required to verify their identity and provide a valid credit card to be kept on file prior to check-in. - The individual making the reservation must be at eighteen (18) years of age, unless otherwise required by applicable law. - Only registered guests are permitted to stay overnight. - Visitors must be approved in advance and may not stay overnight unless added to the reservation as guests. - Maximum occupancy must be respected at all times. 3. No Parties or Events - Parties, events, gatherings, filming, or commercial use are not allowed unless pre-approved in writing. - Unauthorized activity will result in immediate cancellation without refund and additional charges. 4. Noise & Community - Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. - Please respect neighbors and keep noise to a reasonable level at all times. 5. Smoking - No smoking, vaping, or marijuana use inside the property. - Violation may result in additional cleaning and odor removal charges. 6. Pets - Pets are only allowed if pre-approved. - Unauthorized pets will result in additional fees and/or removal. 7. Property Care & Damage - Please treat the home and all furnishings with care. - No alterations, installations, or moving of furniture without prior approval. Moving, rearranging, or altering the layout of furniture is not permitted. Any unauthorized changes may result in additional fees of up to $500, based on labor time required to restore the property. - Guest is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear, including damage to furniture, linens, appliances, or finishes. - For your convenience, dedicated makeup towels are provided—please use these for makeup removal. Makeup stains on standard linens or towels may result in replacement charges. - Stained linens or towels that cannot be restored will incur replacement charges at the values below: King Sheet ($45), Queen Sheet ($43), Bath Towel ($25 each), Hand/Face --- Towel ($18 each), Washcloth ($10 each), Bath Rug ($25 each). - Where applicable, fireplaces are for display only and may not be used. - Where applicable, Japanese blinds are custom-made and delicate — please handle with extra care. Damage to these items may result in repair or replacement charges. - Excessive mess or failure to maintain the property in reasonable condition may result in additional cleaning fees. 8. Parking - You must observe all signs for parking regulations. - Guest assumes all risk for vehicles. 9. Cleanliness & Checkout - Before departure, please: - Dispose of all trash in designated bins — trash left behind may incur a $100 removal fee. - Excessive trash left behind (including boxes, packaging, or large quantities of waste) will incur an additional $75 trash removal fee. - Do not leave dirty dishes — please load and run the dishwasher (if available); uncleaned dishes may incur a $100 cleaning fee. - Gather all used towels in one place. - Turn off all electrical devices, including heating/cooling systems, pool or hot tub equipment (if applicable) — failure to do so may result in additional charges of up to $500. - Leave the property in a reasonably tidy condition. - Follow any specific checkout instructions provided. - Failure to follow checkout instructions may result in additional fees. 10. Prohibited Conduct - The following are strictly prohibited: - Illegal activity of any kind. - Exceeding occupancy limits. - Tampering with safety or monitoring devices. - Violating community or building rules. - Violations may result in immediate removal without refund. 11. Charges & Responsibility Guest is responsible for: - Damage to the property or its contents. - Missing items. - Excessive cleaning. - Rule violations or fines. - Lost or unreturned keys may incur a replacement fee of up to $125 per key. Lost or unreturned garage openers/clickers may incur a replacement fee of up to $250 per device. - Sarāy may require a security deposit or pre-authorization hold prior to check-in. The amount, if applicable, will be disclosed before or at the time of booking. - Applicable charges may be deducted from the security deposit/pre-authorization hold, if collected, and/or charged to the payment method on file in accordance with the Terms. 12. Property Access - Sarāy, the Owner, and their authorized representatives may access the property when reasonably necessary for maintenance, repairs, inspections, or operational purposes, in accordance with applicable laws. - Whenever possible, reasonable notice will be provided prior to entry. - In the event of an emergency, or where immediate access is reasonably necessary to protect persons or property, Sarāy and its representatives may enter the property without prior notice or Guest approval. 13. Personal Belongings - Guests are responsible for all personal belongings brought to the property. - Sarāy and the Owner are not responsible for lost, stolen, or forgotten items.
