The Area
Spetses sits at the southern tip of the Saronic Gulf, gazing across to the Peloponnese coast. Around 25 to 30 kilometres of trails thread the pine-covered interior and ring the coast. Getting There
Spetses has no airport, which is part of its charm. Most visitors fly into Athens International (ATH), then transfer to the coast. Alternatively, drive through the Peloponnese to the small port of Costa, opposite the island, and cross by water taxi in minutes.
