We are lucky to be a part of Winthrop, Maine! There are so many charming local shops and eateries nearby in downtown Winthrop. We are down the road from one of the most famous ice cream shoppes in Maine, Fielders Choice! If you are new to Maine or new to this area, we definitely recommend! The theater at Monmouth is always a great family outing if you happen to be visiting when a production is playing! We are close to Hannaford (a local grocery store) in downtown Winthrop as well as in Augusta as well! Here at the cottage, our quaint neighborhood is quiet and serene. You will find more noise made by the loons than anything else! The quiet dirt road let’s guests walk around and look at the surroundings. Feel free to adventure as best as you can in this very small neighborhood! The local neighbors are all friendly and welcoming.
